no worries...it's on topic.

I've ran both and am currently running a Super 44. And well, Super40 and Super44 are so similar in sound, it's hard to tell which is louder. The 44 is deeper than the super40, and I think the 44 is better sounding all around than the Super 40, but again, they are very close in comparison between how both sound. Then again, there are so many variables to it....muffler distance from the engine, tailpipe lengths, number of bends, type of tips, size of tips, size of tubing, dual or single.... just saying there's plenty of variables.

I know this for sure: Dumped for dumped, the super44 is louder than the super40 if both are dumped and on a 4.0L SOHC.

Another thing i do know, is that a Delta Flow 40 is louder than a Super 40 on a 4.0L OHV.

im sure i'll get tired of it after a while too. but right now i love it. i try to make it as loud as i possibly can cause i want people to look over and say "that is one bad *** ranger" lol haha.

actually when i drive through over passes or between sound walls on the interstate or anywhere that makes the sound of my truck echo, i roll down the windows and rev it up cause i just think it sounds soooooo good haha.

Bingo.

Loud enough and with a different enough tone to know it isn't stock but it doesn't annoy people. It gives it some throat. I felt some seat of the pants quickness and when you're not accelerating there is almost NO drone in the cab at all.

I have seen good exhaust videos on the internet. For example this Camaro was next to a center divider and mashed it. You could hear his dumped exhaust perfectly. I just have to spend money on a good camera mount that attaches to the side of my truck which I don't feel like doing right now. My exhaust does sound kind of crappy in the video but as people stated that is just revving with no load and that was a day or two old. The sound changed as it broke in. It sounds so good now that I always floor it next to walls just to hear it. It would be a lot easier if I had power windows though.

I want something like this: http://www.goprocamera.com/index.php?area=2&productid=2
