exhaust quick question...
So me and Shaklakan were looking at my truck and found out that the whole pipe coming off the muffler to the exhaust tip was just clamped on and decided to remove it (so basically the exhaust just ends after the muffler right now) and i just went down to my work and clamped on a turn down pipe right off the muffler. Holy crap it sounds a lot meaner now, but my concern is am i going to lose any back pressure? Am i going to pass smog? Will this hurt my truck?
I made and exhaust exactly like this on my 97 F150 and i saw no difference in performance or engine at all, just sound difference. But i just want to make sure that this wont hurt my 2.5L 4 banger :-P

a lot of guys run a setup like this. wont be a problem for smog either... other than they might not be able to plug the sensor to the end of the tailpipe. (i had that problem on a truck i had years ago... I had to go get a full tailpipe put on to get it smoged)
