few questions

hey yall, i got a 1996 mazda b3000 2wd, i got a 6 inch skyjacker susp. lift on 33 12.5, i really wanna do a 3 inch b/l on it, what size tires yall think i can fit? if yall have any other ideas let me know. also if i went ahead and got my duels on now how bad would it be for them to rebend the pipes so that i dont have a gap between the pipes and the bumper once the b/l is installed? thx also whats the chapest place to find a bl in yalls opinion thx

I say at least 35s, maybe 38s with some other minor work.

BlazedB2 10-10-2005 08:28 PM

what gear ratio do you have?

and the cheapest BL may be drilling holes through some hockey pucks.

SoundPer4mance 10-10-2005 08:30 PM

PLEASE dont EVER use hockey pucks!!!

you could def fit 35s though

CountryboyNC 10-10-2005 09:05 PM

Yeah, and so is Chris, but you can never know when they'll fail. The truck's only as strong as it's weakest link.

dangerranger 10-11-2005 12:18 PM

I think with a little trimming on the front fender you could fit 38's

CountryboyNC 10-11-2005 08:25 PM

is the fender the only place i would have to worry about rubbing or you think i would have to worry about inside the fender also on the frame and what not? also what gears would you recommend for that

SoundPer4mance 10-11-2005 08:28 PM

if you have the right backspacing on the wheels, you shouldnt have to worry about too much contact.

CountryboyNC 10-12-2005 05:57 PM

thatnks yall i appreciate it, if yall have any other ideas whether its lift or just something to do with the truck in general just let it fly im open for anything to make my ride look better oor function better

vansnxtweek 10-12-2005 06:06 PM

i say 35s!

Gearhead61 10-12-2005 07:00 PM

I'd say 35s will definitely fit. I wouldn't go much larger than that though... 36s would be the biggest I'd run on my rig. With that, I'd regear to atleast 4.88. Also, a locker would help you out a ton. And what size axle do you have? If you have a 7.5" I'd strongly suggest an 8.8" which can be found in many rangers and explorers. If you get it off an explorer, you might even be able to do a disc brake conversion also!
