Yeah I think it would but wouldn't the middle want to bow up? I guess it wouldn't matter if you were laying on it. I dunno, I'm thinking about this for college as I will have 1 1/2 hrs between classes and I don't want to drive the 30 minutes home. So maybe a quick nap or use their wireless to browse the net.

I have two double air mattresses, one is like a pocket coil., Coleman
..Its sucks in the truck, it bows up in the middle and is almost impossible to sleep on becasue of that.
The other one is like tubes that run the lengthways of the mattress, it shapes around the wheel wells really good and does not bow up in the middle.
It was $15 Canadianat Walmart its a Ozark Trail mattress.
There are made for truck ones that have the wheel wells cut out, but they are expensive as h$ll

If are going to use the bed of your truck to sleep in why not make a platform on top of the wheel wells, that why you can put a queen size matress in there with no problem. Also check out this link, this is what I am getting ready to do.
