Finally did it...

Well, thanks to a school cancellation, i finally got some time to do the headlight mod. nothing fancy, used satin black. i will have to say though, my boxes took like 30 mins on 250 degrees. And actually on the drivers side, some of the reflective chrome came off with the tape, not too happy about that. but its not noticeable at all. oh and a tip for people who still want to do this, "once you pry apart the boxes, REMOVE ALL excess silicone, it will be a ***** later when you try and put it back in" well heres some pics...

And YES, clear corners are next on my list...

AND...those off-road lights only look blue like that straight on.

Looks good.

Did you allow for it to cool down before taping it off? If you didn't that may be why some of the chrome came off.

idk, i like the 06 corners, but id prefer to have no orange up front. oh and btw, speaking of no orange up front, are there bulbs that dont appear orange, but still blink orange? i just really hate the orange... there has to be like a clear LED that still blinks orange

ebay corners suck to mod, I tried on one set and snapped both. Just take your time and don't pry too hard. Looks great!
