night shade reverse lights

So I just recieved my clear corners and I plan on putting them on as well as putting night shade on my tail lights tomorrow. I've heard a lot of people say to tape off the reverse lights (I'm assuming so they're seen better) but my question is how hard would they be to see if I didn't and I put on two or three coats.

you can say goodbye to your reverse lights. tape them off or buy some other lights for your reverse lights like i did.

I nite shaded my tails, turned out real nice... def don't nite shade the reverse light part because when their lit up, it's purple. mad gay. Then MAKE SURE you clear coat the whole thing, prevents chipping, and looks 10 times better

Well I ended up nightshading the whole thing including the reverse lights. I also installed my clear corners. I'll try and post some pics up tomorrow.

Both trucks look great! The 06's nightshaded look sick. I'm going to give them a shot after I do the headlight mod tomorrow.

I used 1000 and 2000 grit wet sanding techniques along with clear coat to get a glossy finish on mine
