Finaly got rear disks

Well went to the juck yard friday and got lucky they had a 95 mustang gt that no one had took the rear end out of yet so i got the rear disk off of it. got all the parts for 60.00. went home and cleaned it all up and gave it a nice coat of black paint.. saturday i went and tour the drums off and pitched that juck i was so ready to get rid of em things. install was quite simple. gotta get ss brake lines but the stockers will do for the mean time. the only hard part of the swap was geting that durn parking brake cable hooked in.

I won't have that option for at least 10 years, its impossible to find anything above 2000 here, insurance gets all the wrecked newer models...bastards

Nice swap though, I've always wanted to do this

No, you can bolt up expo disc brake stuff. Or buy the special bracket by currie for the large bolt pattern on the axle flange to bolt up cobra brakes.

gt rotors will clear 15" wheels no problem. Cobra rotors are case by case for 15" wheels...i've had some clear and some not clear...they interfere with the caliper.

Why not swap an expo axle, and leafs in? then you get discs, stronger axle, and better leafs all at once lol
