Flexing

I know this is a very dumb question but I am curios (sp?) to know if flexing can hurt anything on the truck? I was flexing my dads and it seems like the fuel pump got louder???? Power Steering? Oh and now everything squeeks like a mouse!

Are you sure you didn't hit any puddles of water or mud or submerge suspension components while out "flexing"? I've never heard of joints going bad due to working them through their full range of motion. Flexing a vehicle is just working the suspension through it's full range of motion. When you go beyond that and start twisting the frame is when you can potentially cause minor damage.

Nope just flexing it off of a small bmx jump (dirt) I made that didnt even make it go through full travel. The bed looked like it was flexing too?
Truck is a 93 F-150 and bushings and all are corroded and everything is rusty so I guess thats why. its my dads truck though and he doesnt want to do anything to it.
