Flowmaster installed
#1
I just had some Flowmaster 40 originals installed and I must say I love them. I have SI/SO dumped and it has a nice deep sound to it. I recommend these to anyone thinking about buying them. They are louder than stock, but after having no muffler for a while, they are MUCH quieter. I was really suprised at how deep of a tone they actually gave the truck. It isnt spectacular at idle but during hard acceleration you get a good rumble out of it. For the muffler and installation I paid $100.68, not to shabby. Luckily he kept a wide array of flows in stock so I didnt really have to worry about getting some ordered and shipped. He had exactly what I wanted right there.
After that I went to check out getting my fiberglass rollpan installed, it wasnt all the bad, $124 painted and installed untill I pointed out the small peices of extra material on either side of where the bumper is. Having those shaved down, then having that edge built up a little bit to be even all the way down and then getting painted would have been around $300, so in all to get my roll pan installed it would have been nearly $450 or so (give or take any extra added costs) So I might not get my rollpan installed for a while...
