Himmmmm, any thoughts on my hella bad Ranger lean??

Well, ever since I jumped my truck about 6 times up at silver lake, my truck has had a nasty ranger lean on the driver side.

So far, I have replaced the rear Explorer leaf springs with different ones, and even traded them side to side. I put the stock shakles back on, still the same, so I went back to the DJM ones. Put my Fabtech coils in, new upper control arms. Swaped shocks from side to side. New ball joints all around up front...... So you would think the Suspension is fine.

I messured the distance between the cab and frame and everything is good side to side. so the body mounts should be fine, and the body lift blocks are fine too.

When you look at it, the driver's side is 3" lower then the passanger side, both on the front and the back side, whole truck is lower on the driver side. the driver lower control arm has less of an angle to it then the passanger side.

This is really pissing me off, Any idea's at all, because I have exhausted all my thoughts other then the frame being bent, but both me and my buddy who works on car frames everyday, both think the frame is fine.

Well, I'm half glad its not just mine then... But mine isnt a 3" Diffirence. I just contributed mine to not being able to count correctly when turning T-bars. I dunno what could be up with yours, the mount for the springs isnt bent at all then? But still, 3" is alot.

You jumped with body lift Polyurethane blocks on your truck?
Theres your problem......
Your cab could have shifted very easily.

you could have bent the cab mounts, bent the lower control arms, control arm mounts, upper arm mounts bent inwards...

now for my thoughts on your hella bad lean...
- why the hell would you jump your truck like that with near stock suspension and a body lift??????? of course something is going to break

I have Messured the distance between the cab and frame, like I said, it is the same all the way around.

I jumped my truck because I wanted too. Yes I knew better before I did it. I did it anyway, We went over this already, just looking for any ideas of WHAT might be wrong, not WHY its wrong

All the heavy stuff is on that side. That contributes to the 'Ranger Lean'

That being said, my soultion when stuff doesn't sit right has always been to stuff coasters underneath it until it was level again. Somehow I dont think that'll work here.

You could make a 50-coaster coil-spacer for that side.

Check the sway bar, maybe it got trashed when you landed. Since it keeps the LCA's in relativeley the same position, it sounds like it would constantly be twisted pretty bad for a 3"+ difference. Find a JY one and slap it on there and see what happens.

When my truck was in an accident a while back, the body of the truck was an 1" lower than the bed. Even though everything measured to with a 1/16", it was the that body mounts had moved. When we loosened up all the body bolts, it snapped back into place. I would recommend taking out all the bolts, putting new thread locker on them and re-tourque them. It worked for me anyways, and that was before I put the body lift on.
