Ford ranger wheel size

So im buying new rims for my 02 ranger XLT off some guy on OfferUp, they are mickey thompson side biter 2s. Just double checking that 15x8 on a 5 x 4.5 bolt Pattern. Is that correct?? I don’t much about trucks so im confused and worried that they won’t fit. Also will I need new lug nuts? Thanks

Welcome to the forum

Wheels are not that simple, lol
Yes 15 X 8 is fine
Yes 5 x 4.5" is the correct pattern
Yes, your current factor lug "should be" OK

Then you need center hole size, if you have a 2WD it usually doesn't matter, 4x4 can matter

Back spacing, wheels come with many different back spacing, same model/design will usually have 3 different backspaces to fit different vehicles, explained here: https://therangerstation.com/tech_li..._fitment.shtml

According to the wheel specs it says They have a
-22mm offset with a 3.63 backspace
and the article link you sent me to says that recommended backspacing for a 15 x 8 should be
3.75 backspace with a -19mm offset,
does that minuscule of a difference matter?
