Not an ad, a question...Whats a rebuilt Ranger worth

I am coming close to being done with my current project. I would just like some opinions...Its a 2000 3.0 auto 4wd that was rolled. I bought it with a rebuilt title and changed the body. I repainted the bed so the body and interior is pretty good and it runs good. The rear cab mounts are slightly bent (cab/bed gap not even)but it drives good.
Se the procect here Number 15Most recent pic...

It would really depend on, miles, power windows, locks ect. Does it have a salvage title?

the 4x4 is a very nice feature, and will definitely help with the sale, but like cody said it depends on the miles, power options. Is there any way you can fix those cab mounts maybe heat them up and hit them with a hammer. I say you could get $4,000 for it, give it a good clean.

It has a reconstructed title which means it has already been thru the salvage title process so you don't have to do anything special for registration. The harness is setup for power doors but I didn't want to change the doors so the only options are cruise and cd/cassette and a/c. 3.0 auto.130,000 miles I'm not sure about straightening the mounts. I wouldn't want to heat that close to the tank without removing it.

I think 4K is a little much, But I say any running 4x4 that new is automatically worth 2K, so add that it is in presentable shape, I say I would start in the 3K to 3500 range and see what happens. Unless you need to unload it today, you can see if there are takers at that price and lower it accordingly.

Hell you never know too, some people will spend a lot on vehicles, I had a Friend sell a 1996 Corsica with 150K miles, with all the Check engine lights, ABS and etc. on. No turn signals and no gas guage for 5K a few years ago. When she put the ad up we all advised her to lower it, but she said that is what she wanted, well low and behold somebody bought it three weeks later. Not a normal story but it happens.

Man, that's awesome! I need to get a house to do similar swaps. :p

Where are you finding these? I've been looking around for a "project" 4.0 Ext Cab 4x4 but haven't found much.

I think Its worth more because it was rebuilt awhile ago. So someone looking to buy it is going to say its lasted all this time it should be ok.

my grandma just got an 07 cobalt with an r title and paid like 9 for it so im sure someone will get it.

Like HAZZARDJOHN said, you can always lower the price. I would ask a lil more than you want to get for it. That way when someone tries to haggle with you and they offer lower you are closer to what you wanted to get for it.

I personally would be scared to buy a vehicle with a rebuilt title cause you dont know what was wrong with it. Of course you have done the work so you know. I wouldnt trust someone else though telling me what was wrong with it cause as a buyer you just dont know. 4k sounds like a little to much to me. I'd say more like 3k

I don't have alot of money but I have a good bit of time. Figure I bought 2 trucks, went and towed them home, changed bodies, did body work and paint on the bed, and will have all the fluids changed before I sell it. I did the trans filter already and antifreeze. allI really have left to do is the oil, charge the a/c, give it a good cleaning, and install a valance. I've already put over 100 miles on it, I took it to the last tri state meet.
