Fresh Paint !

After a long 3 weeks of having my truck in the shop and driving a Pathfinder, I finally have my truck back! I went back to houston to pick it up. soo nice being back in my truck

Looks like now. Painters did good besides the overspray. I would be kinda mad about that. Just curious, what was the cost on that?

i dont remember exactly but if i recall right it was around 2300 using a salvaged rear door.

i am happy overall but the tires and there is also paint on my doorhandle and a couple other things. next time im in town ill go in and talk to him about it. My truck was in for almost 3 weeks, then my brother dropped off his truck and the day after we picked it my stepdad got into a fairly nasty wreck in the 82 chevy and had it dropped off. i think he will take care of me.

Paint on the door handle? Sounds like a good time to go back and get them color matched.

thats exactly what i was thinking

but i dont know about how well painting over the plastic will hold up

I think steel wool and alittle elbow grease will get that paint off. It not you could always spray black paint over it...

haha yeah, we do that at work sometimes to make dirty tires look clean

I been getting on more lately. Does he still have the same number he had like a year ago or so? If not PM it to me if you want or ask him if you can give it to me. I want to call and talk **** to him!!! lol Hot its not hot its Texas! lol

he killed one doing reverse burnouts for big axle hop. the replacement is still running strong

ha thanks!

the handles arent really bugging me. they are all faded anyways so it might be about time for a fresh coat of black.
