Front end Squeak

Well I have a annoying squeak I can't figure it out. When I turn the wheel it has a squeak, and when ever I'm just driving the squeak is horriable. never stops.
It sounds like its coming from the left side front.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Corey

I'll check that out. Also it seemed like it started after I went mudding one night. So maybe water or mud got into a joint or bushing?

It does sound like its coming from the sway bar. How could I fix that or would I need new bushings?

I got a sqeak just like that in my left side front. It squeaked for about 3 months and then all of sudden stopped.I have never heard it again knock on wood. Maybe first you should see if it will work itself out.

FWIW, my sway bar end links broke before they made noise. If any suspension component is making noise up front replace it. Just because it stops doesn't mean its ok.

I waited to about a 120k to replace my ball joints, and they were very loose. To the point of possible falling apart.

If you have 100k or more and never replaced any ball joints. I would start planning and or saving to make that happen. Also for the 4x4 guys wheel bearings don't last much past that either. I spent roughly 600 to do ball joints, tie rod ends, and wheel bearings. I did all labor myself, and I was shocked on how bad the ball joints really were after removing them. On a side note I gained about 1 mpg city after changing wheel bearings. doesnt sound like much but going from 15 to 16 is a big deal too me.

Yea I need to go over that entire truck and check everything, cause I don't know if the guy that owned it did any upkeep to it. I've only had it for 2 months now, and I had to replace the Intake gasket, cause it blew out and coolent went everywhere. and had to replace a u-joint on the rear of the drive shaft. so it probably needs to be checked top to bottom.

Moving or not moving?

Moving, likely brakes.

Not moving belt related noise.

Wheel Bearings. Everytime I go mudding, the wheel bearings degrade like 200 times faster. Remember, you will break more **** with mud than anything else!
