You can actually order those Torsen T2 98+ LS units now? NOBODY is running that front LS yet as I'm still not even sure if it's available yet, but it should be as it was debuted last November.

The Detroit TrueTrac is a good differential...similar to the Torsen in design and I've seen TruTrac's put power to both wheels when one was in the air.

Thank you Downey...I can read what "the old guy"/John wrote in the OP and his reply to me. I don't need a commentator.

Anywho...I can't seem to find anything on Torsen's website about this diff being available....they only list the rear L/S in OEM applications and other Ford rear 8.8/7.5 rear units. What I do know for sure is that it debuted at SEMA in Nov '09 for 'future' release to the public. Yet I've not found anything in regards to the diff on the net since. If it really is what the community has been waiting for for almost 5 years, I can't effin' wait! It's priced(in Canadian) right where I was hoping it'd be priced and I may be one of the few who will rock that LS up front. REALLY don't want a locker up there, REALLY hate having open up there, LS is perfect.

Keep us updated, John. This is all news to the community.

EDIT: About 3/4 the way down the page, talks about D30/35 Torsen Ranger diffs.... http://www.torsen.com/general/general_faq.htm

shane... torsen hasn't updated their site yet and you have to order the part through paypal, they don't take visa or phone orders as of yet but you can call them and they will give you the ordering info, and i will keep you guys posted as to how well this thing is going to work...

I saw a picture of the Torsen IFS D35 unit on explorerforums a while ago, but last I checked he hadn't installed it.

you have to order it from torsen, this is the email they send me to order mine: "You will have to use PayPal. You want to send $550 USD ($500 for the unit + $50 for S & H) to paypal@torsen.com. You will need to mention part number 975420-0207B for the model you are looking to purchase. Unfortunately, we do not accept phone orders. The unit will be shipped to the address below via UPS Ground Service. Make sure you enter the address in the pertinent fields in PayPal. The person who processes the order does not have access to these emails!"
