toolbox?

ok i have my old tool box from my old 96 Ranger that got totaled and i was thinking about puting it on my 99. if i do put it on i will be puting diamond plate on the sides and i already have it on the tailgate. i wana know if u guys think it will look good with it on or to keep the cover on it. i can make up my mind and i dont wana rewen the look. i alos have dual whips 4' to put on the sides of the tool box. here is the pic of the box on my 96



and the pics om my 99 to compare.

and if u think something else will make it look better than pleas say what u think wiould look good!!!

if you dont need the extra space from the tonneau, then i say go for it

well the reason is that id like ot lock my work stuff up instead of aveing my $$$$ power tools and other junk laying in the back and in my cab but i dont wana rewen the look of the truck. and after i get them $$ i getting bigger tires to.

i vote no. i think those tool boxes look way too big for the ranger. i mean it fills up almost half the rear glass.

if you want a tool box what about something like this? and put it under the tonneau

i was thinking of that but its such a pain in the arss to take the cover off i wish i could. and i dont know how i would keep it locked in so someone dosent slide it out. i am starting to just like the diamond plate and keep the cover better. i still wana make my truck look nice to and not rewen the affect.

the box gets bolted in. and noone is to say you have to mount it al lthe way to the front of the truck.

i say go for it. i have a tool box and it does not take up half of the rear window. it takes up maybe 2-3" at the most

so maybe not half the window but the box looks freaking huge.

ya it is big, i guess when i put the diamond plate on ill toss the tool box on just to look at it and see what it looks like w/it on. thanx guys
