No it won't that looks like it's out of an '02+ Explorer. Ebay has console lids. I like that console with the different cubbies. I haven't seen many, if any of those in Rangers.

the one that i have?

and yeah, i love how it looks. and it matches perfectly. the silver inset piece with the cup holders matches the center bezel perfectly on the dash. and i was able to drill some holes in the bottom of the front cubby, and mount my CB on there. you cant really see it in the pic, but you can barely see the fitting for the mic on the front of the CB in the pic.

and could you help me out with which one on ebay i need to look for. because i can't tell. they never show pics of the bottom of them.

what year 4 door explorers were these consoles on? and then they were on the sports and sport tracs too? what years? lol

You need a lid from '98-01. Can you post a better picture of the console, focusing toward the armrest?

That'll work out better for you then, just get the cheapest one you can find, just make sure everything underneath is in good condition(the screws and plastic). I bought one form a member on here that wasn't completely honest about the condition of a lid. The leather was good, but everything else was junk. I spent $40 and couldn't even use the dang thing.

No problem. Ya, I PM'd him about it as soon as I saw it and he said I said the leather was in good condition, I never said anything about the plastic. I was more than a little pissed. Good luck with the hunt.

also, where could i get some good weatherstripping at?

when i lined it up to drill the holes for the bracket the front of the console was right up against the dash. just like it should be. but after i put it all together it ended up with about a 1/2" gap between the stripping thats already on the front of the console. so basically, im not taking this ****er back apart lol. i need some thick black weatherstripping or something to close that gap. where should i look for some?

I would imagine you could get it from any auto parts store. I'd probably start with Napa for something like that.
