That reminds me of an incident a few years ago when I was driving my truck in southern California and there was a corvette burning alot like that and the driver was on the shoulder as well with his hands on his head probably wondering how it happened. I felt for that guy and feel for the driver of this Ranger. Hopefully noone was hurt.

It is a reminder to put a fire extinguisher in your vehicle and now they have the new ones that are less than $10 and will spray alot more of the stuff that puts the flames out.

Wirelessly posted (Droid2)

A fire extinguisher mounted behind the seat would be a great idea. I have one in my work van. May have to do this now.

Oh noes, I need to get rid of my flames immediately. I can't have a burning truck on my hands. Oh, wait, I have full coverage, I think I need to add some more flames.

I'd just get the spray bottle fire extinguisher/ Then you don't have to mount it (giggidy)...Just let it role around in the back and hope you can find it really fast when a fire happens to start? lol but really though. Those aerosol can fire extinguishers would make smokey the bear proud.

I beleive this fire was related to improper wiring off the battery and not being fused prperly. Wasnt this guy a member of the original gen egde?
