He's gonna resent you for that statement some day! LMAO

For your electric fan you need to put an override cut-off switch if you are going to wade into water of any depth. If the electric fan is running and you go through deep water you will toast the motor in the fan.

thank you for the advice Tsquare, instead of running the fan on a thermostat I just put it on a toggle switch. I know there is other issues with doing that however I would prefer to be able to manually control it.

On my last truck I had 2 fans with both hooked up to a thermostat with them coming on at 190 and 195. I also had a cut-off for the system and had a manual over-ride that would force one of my two fans on. The other fan had the switched "AC on".

stay tuned for pics of this bad boy in use, taking it out on a run this weekend. 500 miles through mud, snow and everything else that's shitty.
I added some recovery points and added a ton of duct tape to try to water seal it somewhat.... I'm sure I will still be wet and cold. |

had some fun, got into some stuff a 2WD should never be in, backed into a hole only got stuck 3 times. the flex in stock suspension was surprising to me.

Don't know much about what these things entail or the purpose thereof (other than fun), but it appears you got into some interesting situations.

Looks like fun :)
