2.75 here/87 Just an interesting thing you guys might be interested to hear. Up in Prudhoe Bay, and the road up there, the oil companies never turn off their vehicles. It is so cold that if the vehicle stops running it is very unlikely that it will start running again. They refine small amounts of oil up there. I'm moving to Fairbanks day after tomorrow, and I have to buy a new truck. The thing is, I have to get a blockheater installed. It either heats up the oilpan/crankcase or the coolant. W/O this i could do serious damage IF i could start my truck. -40 degrees will be cool to experience though! Aaron |
the prices could be lower. Were so used to paying high prices the gas companies like the profit their rolling in now. There was a whole nice article in the chi tribune about it. These damn franchised gas stations are probably sending their profits to osama in the desert....

Leave alaska alone. its pretty downright low to start screwin with some of the only untouched pure land cause we want cheaper gas. some people here need to start payin attention to wants goin on... seriously... |
im from the uk and moved to the usa only 2.5 years ago, then gas in the uk was around $7.50 a gallon, so to be around $2.50 isnt so bad.
