I saw that too. The people ive been talking too are all sayin the same thing, that they filled up last night. Well, with alot of the refinarys shut down because of the storm, everyone is running like ants to the gas station. I can see why there is the possibility of a shortage.

Last night I noticed that the gas was 2.79... this morning it was over 3.00. This thing is gettin way over hyped, and the oil companys are cashing in big time.

No kidding, I did not know that.. That's very good to hear. Of course plastic gas tanks aren't exactly punture proof, are they? Hopefully it doesn't come to that. I imange if you've got a super duty or something.. you're carrying around what? $100+ in fuel at any given time?!

Its a good idea (knowing me, Id probably loose the key)...but if it got so bad that ppl started siphoning gas it would be a sad day in the US.

If it gets worse Ill only make enough money to drive back and forth to work and school...never mind my truck payments and other crap.

Gas jacking

Just a something ive seen in the uk about stealing gas from new cars,if the pipe from the gas cap to the tank is rubber ,ive seen them cut the rubber tube to take the gas to bypass the baffles.

That is sad...and the guy was 35? It must be getting really bad out there...its hard for me to imagine just how bad it is after the hurricane since we dont get any weather even close to that. People acting like animals and killing each other, I wish I could do something to help.

yeah well.........this whole thing is causing the gas problems. I just hope that the craziness doesnt follow the new orleans people out of there. I hope gas settles back to where it was.......might be nice to not have to ride a bike because gas is $13.00 a gallon
