$4.59 in Chicago...

Only $4.10 here in the boonie-burbs, though...

Grab your ankles, folks...

It is a shame, but we all should do a boy cott or start riding a bike. I know it doesn't sound very realistic, but that would be one way to do something about the high oil prices.

It's $3.77 here which is insane, because it was below $3 a gallon like 4 months ago.
I'm going to check into one of those fully electric Nissan Leafs.

its sad that the oil companies get to cash in on fear every time theres tension in oil producing countries even if theres no shortage.
I found that out during my road trip last week. Filled up the MS3 at 3.95 for premium at Costco, its 4.15 or more elsewhere.

There's nothing we can do, the us military burns more crude oil in a day than every American driving does in a month (if not more), then you add China's growing need for crude oil and even if we all boycott the oil companies still make tons of money.

i think we should just blow china off the face of the earth, for a varity of reasons. gas here jumped to 3.89 today while i was in the middle of refueling the blazer. havent had to put gas in the ranger for almost 2 weeks. the chevy volt is almost appealing, but then again, i could buy alot of fuel for that, even at 5/gal.

If gas prices hit $5 by June I'm going to have to skip my trips this summer. I was going to make a road trip out to get a part from Scrambler in Massachusetts and maybe do a meet there with everyone and explore the state a bit. I haven't saved a ton though so gas prices could kill the trip in a heartbeat. I would like to travel a little before I leave for the Coast Guard but it's not looking promising.
