Steering wheel shimmy
I am running as most know i guess 10X15 wheels with 33 X12.50 KM2's
At speeds below say 60 I have steering wheel wobble, shimmy you know slight shaking back and forth side to side does anyone else have this with there larger tires? And if so what can I do to reduce this ,does anyone make a dampner for the rack and pinion front ends? Or am I going to have to fabericate one up to help reduce this I only see and feek it in the steering wheel

Was it just an improper wheel balance? When I got my new tires put on, the balance unit was off calibration and I had a shimmy at highway speeds. I brought the truck back to the shop for a rebalance and it corrected it. Sometimes it's just as easy as that.

I had to take mine back to get rebalanced...they said a weight must have fallen off...Same thing happened the next day...So I just went to walmart and they got me set up...If walmart lube techs arent good for anything else, they can balance a tire
