You may have reduced the noise but the broken tensioner is still there. I will have to give this a try because I cannot stand having the TC rattle. I am not going to pay $2000 to have Ford fix it.

what oil were you using before? I have been running mobile 1 synthetic and just switched to valvoline (i think) synthetic and my timing chain noise is absolutely horrible. I think I'll have to try RP next time.
