What is with yall people and V-6 Mustangs? Yall say we should have got a V-8. Well, I may as well say if your going to buy a truck it better be 4x4 or its not a real truck.

because, with the way brian mods his truck, its silly to settle for the V6 now. And as far as 4x4, well i'll let the transfer case do the talking when a 2wd comes wheeling with me. it just doesnt seem right...

dont get upset its all opinion, and mustangs rock, but with the cheaper price of a used vehicle, why not go all out and get the V8? I mean I assume that when he gets his truck payed off hes going to want to make it faster, and its just silly to spend thousands on the engine like he did in his truck when he could be way ahead of the game for later...

i dont think he is buying this car with the intentiions of it turning into a beast. i think he just wants a reliable car for his girl, and him to enjoy. Its a big step though, she was driving a conv camaro. He said he'll mod it a lil, but not for awhile. And plus he probably didnt want to pass up the good deal, on a well kept car.

Your right man!

This stang is just for me to enjoy during the week, and the truck on the weekends..Mainly its for the girlfriend to drive around though, long story that involves her parents...I was the maintenance guy on the camaro she had and I was taking the engine in and out of the thing like it was nothing to do and repairing stuff, I just dont' want to keep having her spending money on the thing to fix it right, so I just sold it and now she is driving a pontiac sunfire that is really paid for but parents keep saying she owes about 7K on it, b/c they didn't transfer the money over from the camaro over to the pontiac that she paid for....So I am going around the parents and getting her "own" vehicle that is staying at my house for her...I will be driving it a lot though anyways

Its a great deal not to take the offer up on, so I went ahead with it and all..

I'm not going to make this thing into a 400+HP machine in no means, pointless to do since I don't speed at all and don't need that much power..Its mainly for driving around and having fun with with getting better mileage outta it!

Nice brian. Me personally after owning both a gt and a v6 preffer the gt. For a DD thought the 6 will do its job and get pretty good gas mileage. If you need any pointers on the stang let me know. I can steer you in the right direction with that car.

looks good, it needs a spoiler. The 3.8's 99+ have lots of stuff out there, you could hook it up nice.
