Alright so I'm getting projectors soon and I need to decide on the paint scheme.

Here are my scheme options. No, all chrome is not an option.

Keep in mind I want them to compliment my corners I just finished

Black shroud, chrome turn signal

personally for your truck some Chrome is good, you have the white from your LEDs in the corner lights I would consider 2 options

Chrome turn signal and Chrome headlight bucket and shroud.

or consider doing Chrome turn signal and Chrome headlight bucket with a BLACK shroud, I think it would give it a really good look on your rig. then throw a white LED halo behind the shroud.

what set up are you planning to go with? what projector, shrouds bulbs, ballasts ect.

 

I'm getting amber halo's in the shroud to wire into the turn signal.

I'm getting FXR 3.0's with a 3" lens, Apollo 3.0 shrouds, 55W 4300K, Motocontrol harness

That's a cool idea with the black shroud though, I hadn't thought of that, but I agree I can't completely black it out, my corners would stand out too much

 

Nice, I tried the FXRs but they are just too much modification, I would be interested to see how others have done it but on my truck the 3.0s touch the outer lens and the rad support lol

I am switched to the DS2 3.0s for an easier fix.

I'd go with logan style scheme. I hate chrome and itll look like the new FX4 F150 headlights which is cool

 

I always loved Ty's setup. I think it'd complement your corners well, too.

How difficult are projectors to install? I'm nervous about cutting a massive hole in the headlight housing.

 

It depends on which projectors you choose. From what I've read the FXR 3.0's are the most involved as far as surgery on the headlights.
