I found the car of my dreams at a price i could not say no to two weekends ago. I bought a Mazdaspeed 3, and just could not justify keeping the truck. As much as i didn't want to get rid of it, saving 700+ dollars a year on insurance alone is worth it. That and i sold the truck for 1500 more dollars than what i paid for it how could i say no.

Good buy black mamba, we had great times together. You drove me to my first beer league hockey game. I was able to bring all my wife's crap camping thanks to you (which got me laid like crazy) you drove me to work reliable for 6 months and even in the snow and ice you never let me down. You've moved multiple couches, tables and for the first time, allowed me to buy a Christmas tree and not have to stuff it into the back of a 2 door focus coupe. You'll be sorely missed, I could not believe how much it hurt watching the buyer, real nice guy, drive away with it.

And a big thank you to all the very helpful members on here. You've allowed me to maintain and do most of the work needed over the last year and saved me a boatload of cash (timing belt alone saved me 500$). I'll keep browsing from time to time shooting a helpful post here and there where i can.

now i need to go drive my car to forget about my truck :(

We need more pictures of your new ride.

RazorsEDGE 03-17-2011 08:30 PM

You'll stick around right?

hurley 03-17-2011 08:32 PM

There's always time in life for another ranger down the road. Enjoy the new car.

FULLSCALE 03-17-2011 08:38 PM

Thanks guys, as requested here are a few more pics. I haven't had a nice day yet to give her a good bath and solid wax job, but you are right, there will be time for another ranger down the road. I figure once i buy a house I'll need a small truck again :) and no I'm not going anywhere. Enough people have helped me here if I can repay the favor I will.

Looks good!

Masteratarms93 03-17-2011 09:24 PM

Looks like a great Mazda!! Nothing wrong with moving on from a vehicle and it sounds like the timing and situation were just right.

Sonic04Edge 03-17-2011 11:32 PM

Mazda3's are great cars.

btm757 03-18-2011 01:16 AM

Congrats. And atleast a Mazda is still pretty much a Ford. Nice looking car

ranger024x4 03-18-2011 06:41 AM

nice. you will enjoy the ms3. future mods? first thing, id get a tuner.

amgcustoms 03-18-2011 07:28 AM

i really like those mazdas alot enjoy it broda!

silverspeed03 03-18-2011 08:22 AM

Good choice. I owned one for about 2 years. I sold mine to get money for a down payment on my house. I really regret selling because it was paid off and I had about $5,000 of aftermarket stuff dumped into it, but it was the right move in the long run I guess. I do miss it though http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/attac...2&d=1209556604 http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/attac...3&d=1209556604 http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/attac...4&d=1209556616

I still have some stuff for sale if you're interested, I'll sell it to you for cheap, let me know if you want me take some pictures; JMB Catless DP, PG Exhaust Manifold (will only work with FMIC), PG Test/Race Pipe, AEM Wideband gauge, Raptor shift light....I think that's it. You should check out Custom Performance Engineering ( http://www.cp-e.com/ ) if you aven't already, they make the best parts for the MS3. Cobb is good also.

Sorry to see you get rid of the Ranger, but you'll have a blast the the MS3. Congratulations on the purchase.

Probably not, anything over 250hp passing through the front wheels is asking to much and i'm happy with its speed. But I've said this with every previous vehicle i've owned and that's never held up haha. But it usually takes me a year or two to get a little bored and i need to research some before buying anything. However this might turn into the wifes car in the future so i'll end up trading her focus in for something fast in RWD ;)

Thanks silverspeed for the info, i'll be sure to check them out.

bump, figured i'd post a few more pics of my mistress. I'm in the process of buying a house so I may be back in the next year when I buy another ranger.

slick car with the new rims.

PSIJOE 03-08-2012 01:32 AM

I dig Mazdaspeed 3's. Cool little cars. Plus it's nice to carry your friends and still have a fun comfortable ride.

Last pic looks like you got pulled over by an invisible cop car. lol

SirKennyG 03-08-2012 11:03 AM

I like the tree garage in the first pic.

SteelDirigible 03-08-2012 12:34 PM
