Is this a good deal?

I sold my Mustang today and now in the hunt for a Ranger again. This 2008 seems like a good deal, what do you guys think.....

2008 Ford Ranger - GREAT work truck!

This one is for sale in my town......

*** Nice Ford Ranger XLT Extended Cab ***

I think I would rather have the white one posted above because it's newer and way less mileage. Plus I don't want a stick for a daily work truck.

Any thoughts?

First truck looks pretty decent. I would probably offer $3500 to try and stay away from the 4k mark. Mileage is up there, but the 2.3 Duratec is a pretty reliable engine. Just test drive it and make sure it runs smooth and that the transmission shifts smooth and you should be good.

I definitely would go for the '08. Hit him with $3300 cash and drive it home (provided it drives out good). I believe it is probably worth the $3950, but I would try to get it for less.

Definitely a good small displacement engine.

Not expensive on maintenance either and it is damn near the same horsepower as the older Vulcan 3.0 six cylinder motors.

If you don't plan on hauling anything or putting anything too heavy in your bed, a 2.3 Duratec makes for a great daily driver.
