good deal? used brush guard for $25 (for '91)

The seller says it has surface rust over the right side headlight, and it's "certainly not for a show truck" but is in overall good shape. It would also help if I sanded and painted it before use.

But even if I just use the push bar, is a used brush guard for $25 a good deal?

If not, where else should I look to buy one for the same price or less?

Also, would anyone else be interested in buying it if I pass it up?

thanks...I'm going to grab it, clean it, and just use it as a push bar.

I figure for a $600 truck, a $25 mod isn't such a bad it.

The guy also has a new ford rear bumper if anyone's interested.

25 bucks is a steal man. A junkyard here wanted 50 for one that wasnt even in great shape.

ehh...the seller has been a little flakey, and now he says that the lower horizontal bar looks like it hit something, and needs to be welded back on...

I have access to a welder, so is it still worth $25?

Heck I might offer him $10.

Done...it's not in that bad shape, and it might need some custom fabrication to properly mount it, but this is pretty much what it'll look like (mounted with a string).
