It CANT be as bad as this....

Send a set to me and i'll mod 'em for some extra pocket change. I've done like 8 bake apart sets(16 corners) and only one got tweaked out. lol. And NO, that isn't one of my corners above. lol.

Damn Shane beat me to it.. LOL If you decide not to have Shane do it you can always send some to me. You pay shipping both ways and I'll do it. Check my thread about my corners to get an idea of how well mine are done.

Heat gun works great when it comes to corners. Took me about 2 minutes to break open both of my corners. Now headlights.... Oven is the only way to go.

i did the exact same thing. They didn't want to come apart until it was too late. Modding corners was a TERRIBLE experience for me. By the time I actually did a set correctly, I didn't even think it looked that good. What a ******* waste of time and money

Whats modding the corners and headlight do? Just paint the crome black? Wouldnt it cause the head light to not be as reflective? Ive done this to cars before but i dont think ive seen a ranger with them.

Yes. Put 'em in the oven and literally bake them apart. Only retards would paint the reflectors of the headlights. lol.....all you're doing is painting the unused parts of the chrome. The dead spaces. A few cars some stock painted like how we mod them(F150 Harley, Raptor, some Hyundai, Mustangs, Tahoes/Suburbans, quite a few actually that I'm not even thinking about too). TONS of threads and a couple how-to's on it....search "headlight mod" or "black headlight" or "modded corners".

Here's a pic of how it looks all done up....

And stock...

I think those are weezels.

When I tried to do modded corners I started with my stock 04 ones first and melted them just like the ones Shane posted. It was a good learning experience as cut about a 1/3rd off the baking time on the 06's and they came apart rather easy. Then after I got them all done I decided I hated the blacked out lights and corners and traded for stock 06 stuff, lol.
