Got a question for ya all
whats the difference between a 94 ford ranger body and a 95 ford ranger body? I found a guy that wants a regular bed for his 95 and has a step side that I want, I have a 94 ford ranger. Is it possible to do it?
As long as the regular bed is the short one you guys are set. Just unbolt, swap, bolt and go!
thank you, that is good to know, I will let you know if the guy decides to go through with, then I can get some pics up here
I believe all the 93+ beds (except the long ones) will swap with eachother. The only difference may be the mounting holes. Make sure you swap bumpers, tailgates, and gas filler tubes too.

All beds will swap.
Only thing that matters is the length, as mentioned. some came with long beds. |
yeah you can put a newer bed on the first generations if thats what floats your boat. i've seen a couple haha.
ok well I guess the guy that had the step side bed had a 2002 instead of a 95 like I thought, but he said he wants a newer bed, i guess, kinda sucks I really want a step side too, for my 94. OK here is one for you, so my truck I got from my brother in-law, the bad thing is that the entire driver side sits lower then the passenger side, and the driver side front wheel sits closer to the back of the fender instead of in the middle any suggestions on how to go about getting the front tire back to where it goes or what is wrong with it to began with.
the bed AND the cab or just one of those? could be your body mounts sagging, mine are, its only noticeable because the cab and bed dont line up perfect. most people wouldnt even notice. but that could be it.
no its both, if you are looking at the truck you can see the whole bed and cab on the driver side, is lower then the passenger side.
