Grill guard + bodylift?

Grill guard + bodylift?
I was wondering how to fit a grill guard on a 3'' bodylifted truck? Some people told me no, but I could swear I saw a truck on here that had both and it looked like everything was fine... Anybody with an answer?

custom fab the mounts. I think jeweler54 had one on his BL truck before he wrecked it.

mine has one all i did was cut 3 inches out of the brackets then weld them back together.

Yeah Ace, you're the one I was talking about! I don't understand what you mean. Did you ''add'' 3 inches to the original brackets?
