Guess what Jeweler54 did!!

He gave me motivation to do gap guards. From this thread

Did it myself. Not with the weather guard stuff. I used home roofing stuff.

Also I am getting like 13 mpgs and I was wondering if it could be because it has bad plugs or something.

I have put 3000 miles in the last 2 months and before that it sat for a year. At first I was getting 16 miles a gallon at first then I putt larger tires on it and was getting 15 mpg. It is no lasting 10 miles a tank less everytime. 210 200 190 180 was today. Uhh I know that it is a truck but I think it should be shi**y millege but not this bad. It is due for a big tune up in about 200 miles.

I'm looking as hard as I can, and I still can see between the frame and bed.

When you do a body lift, you get a gap between your bed and frame that is visible in your wheel well. Most guys just get a rubber thing from Home Depot or Lowes, and cover that crap up.

This guy used roofing shakes, but I can't see them

are you saying that what appears to be a gap, is actually a reflection?
