FYI watch your cats!!! ! ! ! ! !

Not your kitty-cats, but your catalytic converters, they have almost $150.00 in platinum (yes the metal they make FINE jewelry out of) and have been the biggest thing to get stolen lately, i personally will unload my 9mm pistol into someone if they are attempting to steal my cat, just a FYI for you guys, im a jeweler (hint, hint, the name) and i know this is a scam that crooks did back in the 80's and now its happening again. "this has been a public service announcement from your local jeweler!" i tack-welded mine on so it couldnt be "bolted off"

You really think that will stop somebody ?

I guess you haven't noticed that companies make this nifty new tool now called a battery operated sawzall.

Yep. Cost me over $500 to replace everything and that was doing Federal emissions and not California. Would have been close to $1K for California.

The warning has already gone out, lol -- but thanks for reinforcing it!

Here where I live a neighborhood has cars sitting by the curbs. one night all 30 cars had there catalytic converters removed.
They caught the people who did it. Idiots took all the cats to the same scrap yard.
Scrap yard workers got curious. I believe here if you bring in alot of copper or such you have to show a buisness lisence to prove it's from your job.

These people where later pined to a meth house in the area.

Only people who have to worry are trucks and SUVs. they dont even bother the small cars. Since they sit so low to the ground.

You can get 40-50 dollars per catalytic converter
