How To: Trailer harness rewiring made easy

Just rewire mine cuz after backing my jetski in all the time the harness got coroded.

Just pop your tail lights off and grab about 10 ft of speaker wire and a new trailer harness.

Orange/Blue: Left Turn/ Brake
Orange/ green: Right Turn/ Brake
(right tail) Brown- Running lights

I just grounded the black wire to the frame

Easier said than done just make sure you use a multimeter cuz im not sure if the wiring changed for different years

If the wiring did change it was most likely 2004+

In that case yes, but you don't want to say just "speaker wire" and have some dumb dumb go and use some 24 gauge home speaker wire, that they got from Kmart. Thats why I said that....

that kmart wire is probably better than the wire that comes with that plug for the harness
