Hauling the Dogs
I know this topic has been touched on before but I'm curious what everyone does when they have that 4-legged beast in their trucks. Mine jumps so she has to be in the cab and the black interior LOVES her white hair. I'd kinda like to put a lead in the bed someday for her so just wondering how everyone has that set-up (if they even do it at all) and if you guys to anything to protect your interior (I used to have a hammock type contraption for my Focus). Thanks!!
And just 'cause I know everyone liked pics.......

DD rides shot gun. She's ridden in the back of the Ranger once, and she was alright, but I would rather have her in the cab.
Here she is in the Dodge:
As far as cleaning goes, I usually brush her pretty often, but her hair still seems to like to linger in the truck. The shop vac takes care of that.

Camper shell...lol
But before I had that I drilled a hole right in the middle of the bed and put an eye bolt through it. Tied a chain just long enough for him to look over the edge and went right to his collar. I would rather have him in the cab, but if I had passengers i'd just put him in the bed.

I am glad to see that there are so many dog lovers on this site. I really thought more pople would have them in the bed of the truck. Makes me feel sane and not the only one that would rather have em in the cab.

my lab rides shotgun, and hangs out the window, she loves it too, sometimes if i leave the rear window open she will stick her head out there, i am too scared to have her ride in the bed, dont know what she would do, but when we get to our destination and i let her out, as soon as i put the tailgate down she jumps up there and makes herself comfy
emmie black lab/greyhound just turned 4 years old

Bailey always rides shotgun unless the lady is with us then she rides behind me.
She is the best dog I have ever owned, crazy since I have paid more than most people have for some of their trucks for some of our old show/gun dogs. (Used to show St. Bernards, and worked for and raised Worscheim's German Short Hairs)
She was a free dog that wondered up to my buddies house starved/flees/worms/obviously beaten. Wouldn't trade her for any other dog.
-Note she is in the back of my old dd Metro LSI
