2008 Ranger suspensions?

2008 Ranger suspensions?
I went to the dealership today for a Oil Change and Tire rotation before the holiday traveling and I noticed something on the new 08s.
They had 2 identical rangers (to a point)
An extended cab Sport and a regular cab Sport. Both had color matched bumpers, STX grill, pocket flares, etc
But the biggest thing that threw me off was...
The regular cab was Coil Sprung
The Extended cab had Tbars
So whats up with that?

Not sure about the two '08 models as I haven't look the line over yet.

Yeah, but the Sport replaced the Edge
and only came with tbars
and now they come in both suspensions?

Well, if my SAS is any indication, coils are the way to go. My truck rides smoother on a solid axle with coils than it did on IFS with t-bars -- even with the sway bar off.
T-bars have the rep of being harsh, Maybe the relatively lightweight regular cab is just too rough with t-bars? Maybe Ford's marketing research told them the coils would make folks happier in the NVH area (noise/vibration/harshness).

I know what a sport is, and the two 2wd trucks matched options, except extended cab to regular cab.
Also, according to BILLZFX4, Ford's website shows a extebded cab sport with tbars, and a reg cab sport with coils.
Prior years, a Sport was only tbars, because it was the edge platform renamed

it was only 2000 and a reg cab with a 3.0 and had torsion bars.
It had black bumpers and grills to.
