Hello from South America

Hi,

I am new to the forum and about to purchase a 2010 4x4 turbo-diesel ford ranger,i have noticed that its differente form the one for sale in the USA, heres a link to what we get here, hopefully the suspension setup is the same so i can use the parts for sale in the USA,

http://www.mercadolibre.com.co/jm/im...2167_0.jpg&v=O

so i have a couple of questions:

i want a 2 or 3 inch lift and want to run sway a way 2,25 remote reservoir shocks in the front and in the back and want to put 1 inch blocks to lift the back also, heres a link to the shocks SWAY-A-WAY - axles, torsion bars, and shocks for trucks, cars, and off-road vehicles - Off-Road Trucks , i ran these shocks on my previous car (toyota hilux) and loved the way they handeled in the trails and the highway, but mu toyota had front coilovers. i belevie the rear setup is simple, just add the block and change the shocks, for the front i belevie i nedd the eyelet to pin conversion Poly Performance Inc. :: Suspension Kits/Parts :: Toyota Suspension Systems :: Toyota Tundra :: Total Chaos :: Universal Pin to Eyelet Shock Conversion 00-06 Tundra/4 Runner & 97-03 Ford F150 - Jeep JK Synergy Suspension Systems, Fox Racing Shox, Bea

thank's a lot

Welcome to RF.

Nice truck I wish we could get Turbo Diesels here in the US... It seems as if ford forgets the US when it comes to the awesomeness of small Turbo Diesels

I like this truck, Headlights look sharp, had Google translate the pricing page of the brochure. Either the translator doesn't do numbers or ford is pulling a fast one. For 76,000 US I don't see one in my driveway soon.

This price may be subject to change without notice. For more information, contact our authorized Ford dealer network.

Those aren't the US equivalents. You would need to convert those figures from their currency to USD.

You should have kept the Hilux. Awesome little trucks. I would like a 4 door diesel Ranger though.

I think its hilarious that ford wont make a US version of this and it's 2010. They're like the kid on the playground who gets bullied and instead of fighting back he sulks and goes to the corner and cries and doesn't know what to do. (the bullies are Toyota/Nissan/GM/Chrystler, the playground is the U.S. sub-fullsize pickup market)
