congrats on the 4.0L now you can take the difference in the price and put some money into that engine

4x4 is a must for me... snow, hunting roads, and over flowing rivers all cause problems for a 2 wheel dirve ranger

i agree w/ most of the stuff you say but, but just because you go "offroading" doesnt meen you are abusing your truck

Maybe not, but the chances of you scratching up your paint job, dramaticaly increase while you driving thru brush. Some of the pictures I've seen on this website, are definite examples of truck abuse. Trucks are only designed for so much. I feel sorry for the next guys who buy these trucks, after they've had the hell beat out of them.

It all depends on what kind of off roading you do, I drive on the beach up north and down the two tracks back into the woods all the time with my 2wd, but I think the stick and L/S helps with traction...
