When will 2006 Ranger parts be for sale?

I've got some plans to buy some little parts off of the 2006 Ranger to put on my own, but I was curious as to when they should become available. shouldn't the 2006 model rangers be hitting the lot soon?

Well barrman said it. AS soon as the new RANGER emblems are available I'll surely be getting some. I might have some custom paint work done with them too, but we'll see.

And no I don't work for Ford anymore, but I make enough at my new job that I can suffer the lack of discount from Ford lol.

Typically, model year changeover happens at the production line in early August with vehicle deliveries to the dealers beginning in late August/early September. Since there are relatively minor changes for 2006, this will likely go according to schedule. The dealers also get their new model parts literature about the same time and most 2006 replacement parts should be in the pipeline then or shortly thereafter.

You all sound like buzzards circling a dead critter.

Get some pics of the new badges. They would probably look great on my truck.

i couldnt find any close-up pictures of the badge, but you can kinda see it in these:

theyre rectangular with slightly rounded edges, and RANGER inset in the rectangle. they look niiiiiice.

EDIT: in fact, in the second picture, the top wehre it says RANGER with a line under it... thats like an illustration of the new badges.

If buying an FX4 or EDGE err Sport, yank off those Nissan flares and it'll look much better.

That is all I like about them, other than that, it looksl ike a Sport Trac grill, and some fugly front bumper work.....yuck.

I like our 98-04's

Not that I dont like the other years.....88-92 I love as well.

I just dont love the others as much as current year Rangers.

Below the skin, its all the same.
