Help me figure out this problem quick!!

I noticed my drivers side floor board was wet so i pulled up the carpet a little bit and i found this! Should i replace the seal on that hole? I guess should i pull up the carpet and repair and repaint the floor?? you see me pushing throw a rust hole, is that from the cowl? that might be my leak.

Yes, best thing to do would be to cut out as much of the rusted metal as possible so you have good solid metal to weld to, and put in a patch
Treat any parts you can't cut out with Naval Jelly, it turns the rusting "off", but be careful with it, it also takes paint off Rust just keeps rusting, you have to cut it out You need to find out where the water came in, 3rd brake light often leaks on Rangers and it runs from back to the front, usually drivers side because when gas tank has fuel and a Driver the truck leans that way And most Rangers are higher in that back so water runs forward |
