Considering it is an 04, I dont see why not. Look around in your area on craigslist and autotrader, try to find similar vehicles, that will give you a better idea

KBB has private party at $5,680 in Jersey. So I you may have a hard sell at 5g's in la.

Depends on condition. If you've been running off road and buggered up the body, probably not. If it's in mint condition, maybe so, depending on your local economy and if a buyer can get a loan if he needs it.

I have a 2003 in nice shape that I wouldn't even consider selling for $5,000. It's cheaper for me to keep it.

Of course you can. Car manufacturers are giving out higher prices on trade ins so you will be more likely to purchase a new car and keep them out of the hole.

They offered me 3k as, 3500 if I got the airbags fixed(which my mech. is gonna do for free)
But I still owe 4200 on it, So I want to get at least 4200 and have a Little chunk to start a down payment
