Just picked up my new(er) ranger last night. It's a 1995 xlt extended cab, 3.0, 5spd, with 171k on it. Picked it up for $2k, which didn't seem bad to me. I've heard that the 3.0 doesn't have anything on the 4.0, which I can believe. But after driving a gen II 2.3 standard cab for 6 years, it's definitely an improvement. Room/Power wise.

I still love my 92 ranger, it's been by far the best vehicle I've ever owned.

Thanks for all the compliments. As far as plans go, I usually keep it simple. My 1992 was completely stock except for an explorer grill I had for a little while.

I want to put a 4x4 valance on it, 06 Emblems, maybe 06 tails, Explorer OHC and some teardrop or fx4 wheels.

 

Looks like a god truck I like your old Ranger!
