I believe ALL HID kit sellers on ebay have all bulb types avaliable. Just look up "hid kit" on ebay. Suggest buying from a US seller w/ a US warehouse.
They may say HID, but the kit is not a TRUE HID kit if it doesn't come with ballasts. The ballasts make it a HID kit.

eBay 9007 (or whatever bulb you have) HID conversion... And yes, buy from a US seller with a warranty plan going through THEM, not the manufacturer of the HID kit

Dude for the price, you can't go wrong... By far one of the easiest mods, and best mods you can do! IMO

On the 04 Square fogs what is it that prevents you from converting to HID?

Nothing! You just get the proper bulb size (9005 i think?) and the rest of the kit is generic. just wire up the harness and youre good to go!

See Ive heard the square ones will not handle the bulb being to shallow of a lense or something.

12000k = violet hue

15000k = purple hue (no blue)
* make note that when you pass 6000K your pretty much defeating the purpose of HID... esp. after 8000K

Ok here is another REAL question HID standard reflector lense housings and FOG?

After reading the projectors have a cutoff for weather reasons. Possibly fog/rain/snow

whatever bulb is called for in the 04-07 fogs is what you need. There shouldn't be a problem in regards to length of the bulb...unless there's something i don't know about. I know 01-03 calls for a 9145, but 9005 fits fine with a wiggle.

I've actually got 9004 in my lower fogs..

I wouldn't buy HIDs over 6000k, defeats the purpose. The brighest HID is at 4300k.

I'm sure you can mod them to fit the bulb you want in them... Either 9005 or 9004... I do believe they do make a 9145 HID as well too...

This is all confusing me about legal or illegal. If i buy the kit and stick it in my original headlight housing, is that legal? It has the reflector in there. These things llok F'ing awesome.

I'm lifted, I don't get stopped (knock on wood) and ticketed for my HIDs if anything I get the horns or the thumbs up from cops!

It's up to you... It's a fix-it- ticket if you do get one... then go home and put the HIDs back in lol

Definately in the plans for the future. It will make my fog light mod worthless unless I get the dual beam kit. How do beamers and other high end cars get away with it then. If thay are pointed right, why would it matter?

I've never been a fan of those, too small loking even if they have high output. I like the headlight look on the ranger. Well I am going to do the swap eventually. After the bl. I will keep all my old stuff in case I get pulled over.
