Hood latch problems
 

I noticed when I bought the truck that the latch was a little tricky, when I closed it, it would have problems lining up it seemed. I brought it to the shop for new wheel bearings and then they found a coolant leak, which the fixed. Noticed when I got home I had a dead bird in the grill and went to open my hood to remove the grill. The hood popped, but the latch is jammed and I can't move it to open the hood all the way... I'm guessing my hood or the latch wasn't lined up right, and now my hood is stuck down... any advice on how to get this thing open?!?
