Play around too long and you get hooked. Purchased a 08 Ranger tonight and traded in my trusty '02'. New one is: Vista Blue, 4X2 Sup cab XLT w/4.0/auto. Took me a long time to locate one with the right combo. Had to go a long way out of state to find the right color/engine/model but I did. Invoice less $2500 rebate, no fees and I take care of the taxes myself.

Yeah where's the pics. Man we need a rule that says "No pics, no post or you get banned" lol I hear you on the new truck man. I'm thinking about it in a year or so getting an fx4.

 

Give me a break guys! I don't pick it up till Sat. afternoon. (Then I gotta learn how to post pictures - technology comes slower for us old guys) I'll be be fully onboard in a few days - (I hope). I'm hoping to have a good report on the differences between the 3.0 and the 4.0 in virtually the same truck. If it's anywhere close to as good as my 02 XLT Sup cab 3.0 is, I'll be happy. What a great little truck these things are. Ford seems to have given up on a market that they can almost totally dominate. Talk of ending production spurred me into getting an 08 plus they're making it pretty attractive $$$-wise.
One thing I can say, putting the rear stabilizer bar on the 02 made it into a different animal handling wise (positive). Spent the last evening frantically removing the bar so I can put it on the new one.

yea...we are just a bunch of young punks here anyway. I can already tell you...you get to get a '08 Sport grille for it. See, the suggestions are already popping up.

 

Where did you get the stabilizer bar? I was wondering about putting one in mine.
