GEM Module?

Hi All,
I have a 2003 Ranger 4cyl that I have lost the use of my speedometer and my windshield wipers. Thought maybe a fuse but someone said it's probably a GEM module? Any thoughts of a solution would be appreciated. Also, if it is possibly a GEM module where would that be located?

Thank you in advance!

It is located behind the radio, so you remove the radio and trim, you will see it.

GEM(generic electronic module) operates many devices, and it is programmable.
When you swap GEM you may also have to take truck to Ford to have it programmed for correct gear ratio and tire size for speedo/odo to be correct

Not sure in '03 but earlier GEM came in 2WD or 4WD models
