How fast.....

have you gotten your ranger between 3 lightpoles, etc?

We tried mine and got like 55-65 between 3 (does that suck?). No mods done to the truck except thrush glasspacks w/ cataylac coverter cut off AND it is a 5 speed and a 4 cylinder.

that would mean.. all the light poles in the USA are spaced the same...

how about what is it in the quarter mile?

then again we own trucks.. IMO i could careless how fast it is unless its lowered with like a blower or v8....

Dude are you that dumb?
It's not racing. It's caculating your mph when you don't have a damn timer.

problem being.. you are assuming that light poles are all standard everywhere. heck there is only a few roads in my town that have light poles...

then down in TN the little town there is like none at all.. there is no way to make that a standard good way to measure acceleration times

Ease up turbo , most of the people on this site could care less how fast our trucks go because 90% of the people on this site use them for off roading I would think any sane person would relize that when all the pics you see are of lifted rangers .

as stated a stop watch is a good timer on a mesured 1/4 mile ...

1. I don't use my damn ranger for offroading cause it is a 2wd. I have my Courier for offroading.
2. I just wanted to see if anyone has tried it and I guess none of you haven't.
3. I have something bad to say to most of you, but I'll just keep it to myself.

Plus, most of our power lines are buried. Some are not and some are.

No DUMB is estimating how fast your truck is using light poles!

P.S.- I usually let the speedo calculate my M.P.H.
