how hard would it be?

not that i would do it anytime soon, even if i could, would putting in a dash from a newer explorer or from an aviator or something be possible?

im sure im not the only one that is tired of the dashes in the rangers. been about the same since what? 1994 or 5? thats ridiculous.

so are the dimensions even the same, or is it just impossible.

been the same since 95 ... and anything is possible with some work, when i was into hondas i seen a few people put integra dashes into their civics

You could swap in a 95 to 2000 Exploder dash. Ooops. Same crap. Guess not. How about a 98 to 03(I think) F150 dash. Oh wait, same crap again.

The easiest thing would be to just live w/ your current setup. :biggthump I personally wouldn't go tearing the dash out of a fairly new vehicle, but that's just me.

no i wouldnt either, i was just curious, and didnt if the width was anywhere near the same on the newer explorers.

Why not make one custom? Glass it and use aftermarket gauges and switches.
