how much do our trucks weigh?

around how much do you think my truck would roughly weigh? I have a 2001 edge with a 4.0 I have 35's on with fiberglass all the way around and 2 spare 35's mounted in the bed. I want to put it on my friends trailer to get it out to the desert but i need to know about how much our truck weigh. thanks

I'd figure about 4300 to 4400 pounds. Is it an extended cab? Less if it's a standard cab.

You can weigh it at the gravel yard, or nursery that sells gravel.
A supercab 4x4 is around 4200lb.

2004 Ford Ranger (approximate)
2.3 L = 3220 (4x2)
3.0 L = 3340 regular cab
4.0 L = 3600 supercab

Mine, pre-mod, was about 3700 pounds without me in it, and it's only a 3.0. Those numbers are low or missing something...

I added a bit for safety factor for the trailer. But I would not assume less than 4200 with the mods and all.

I just rolled over a scale this weekend at 5100 with some tree stumps and branches in the bed. About 250 lbs worth.

I was thinking more along the lines of 4500 give or take. But take her to the scale as mentioned above and see for yourself.

From my 2003 manual:

Heaviest 4x4 is the Level II:
4320 automatic, 4280 manual

Lightest 4x4 supercab is the 2 door 4x4 Value Package.
3900 automatic, 3860 manual

Other 4x4 supercabs fall in between.

(These numbers assume a full tank of fuel and a 160 pound driver. No additional accessories or options added, no cargo and no additional passengers.)
